About your team
Our team does Performance testing of all the applications which are part of GPS offerings. We make sure applications are sustainable and provides good experience to end user and there are no performance glitches in production system.
About your role
The role of the Test Analyst (performance) is to establish performance requirements and produce high quality Load, Stress, Soak performance scripts, plans and associated documents. Performance engineering skills are required and the candidate should be able to ensure the design, build, execute and monitor and analyse performance tests. Should provide accurate reporting on performance results as well as reporting, analysis and escalating risks and issues appropriately.
About you
- Extensive experience in Performance Testing & Engineering, including application performance analysis.
- Expertise in defining test suites: benchmarking, load, soak, and resilience tests.
- Ability to design and execute chaos tests.
- Hands-on experience with JMeter and similar performance testing tools.
- Proficient in log monitoring tools like ELK stack.
- Skilled in using monitoring, profiling, and tuning tools (e.g., New Relic, CA Wily, OEM).
- Strong capability to analyze performance results and present findings in technical and business language.
- Good working knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins and GitHub.
- AI/ML Skills
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and their application in performance testing.
- Familiarity with AI-driven performance analysis and anomaly detection.
- Awareness of machine learning techniques for predictive insights.
- Exposure to AI-based monitoring and automation tools.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with stakeholders across delivery, QA, and business groups.
- Strong problem-solving skills, lateral thinking, and long-term perspective.
- Ability to quickly learn complex business and system environments.
- Demonstrates self-motivation, commitment to high-quality design and development, and passion for testing.
