TESS- Sr. AMDOTS/Protogate Freeway Engineer
Clearance: TS/SCI
Location: Peterson Space Force Base, CO.
U.S. Citizenship required
Periodic Travel Required.
Position Summary: Specialized Senior Engineer supporting AMDOTS automated data collection/retrieval and RMU capabilities, with required hands-on Protogate Freeway design/configuration and FreeBSD experience.
Primary Responsibilities- Support AMDOTS automated data collection, retrieval, processing, transmission, and analysis capabilities.
- Design, configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Protogate Freeway components and associated AMDOTS/RMU interfaces.
- Operate and support FreeBSD environments used in the AMDOTS architecture.
- Support RMU installation, administration, maintenance, network configuration, system/application/security configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain technical procedures, system configuration documentation, interface information, disaster-recovery/contingency documentation, and site as-built documentation.
- Travel to mission sites as required to install equipment, load software, troubleshoot systems, and support technical activities.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in automated data collection and retrieval, data analysis, Protogate Freeway design and configuration, and FreeBSD operation.
- IAT Level II certification in accordance with the solicitation's cited DoD 8570.01-M requirement.
- U.S. citizenship.
- TS security clearance with eligibility for SCI access; must have TS/SCI access when required to perform work at specified classified facilities.
- Hands-on experience integrating legacy or specialized data-collection interfaces with modern networks/data repositories.
- Experience with AMDOTS, RMUs, mission-data collection, system interfaces, or similar DoD technical environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, configuration-management, and technical-documentation skills.

Skills Required
- At least 3 years of experience in automated data collection and retrieval, data analysis, Protogate Freeway design and configuration, and FreeBSD operation
- IAT Level II certification under DoD 8570.01-M requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI access; TS/SCI access required at specified classified facilities
- Experience integrating legacy or specialized data-collection interfaces with modern networks and data repositories
- Experience with AMDOTS, RMUs, mission-data collection, system interfaces, or similar DoD technical environments
- Strong troubleshooting, configuration-management, and technical-documentation skills
