As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing a strategic territory plan for the sale of Non-destructive testing systems to customers in key segments including Aerospace, Defense, Automotive & Electric Vehicles, Additive Manufacturing, Medical Devices and Electronics.
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
Selling product(s) and services including system upgrades, service contracts and inspection services within assigned geographical area.
Developing a pipeline by having a clear understanding of sales processes and stages.
Forecasting of system and service sales to the region director including weekly deal and pipeline reviews.
Managing CRM (Deal Machine) to ensure accuracy of forecast to the business.
Traveling throughout the territory to manage installed base, developing new opportunities and managing customer relationships.
Working with Application Engineers to qualify the opportunity, developing deal strategies and becoming the technical solution of choice for the customer.
Driving deals to closure including quoting, negotiation and OTR (Order to Remittance) handoff.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. STEM discipline preferred.
Have a minimum of 3+ additional years of experience in sales.
Be able to travel 50%-70% of the time.
Possess experience in key strategic segments: Avionics, Electronics, Space and Defense, and Automotive/Electric Vehicles (Preferred).
Have up to 5 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing (Preferred).
Possess Capital Sales Experience with Deal Values greater than $750,000 USD (preferred).
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to manage several sales opportunities simultaneously.
