At Cabinetworks Group, we're looking for a bold, motivated sales professional who thrives on opportunity, loves building relationships, and knows how to turn conversations into business.

If you're energized by winning new accounts, influencing decisions, and taking ownership of your success, this could be your next big opportunity.

As America's largest privately held cabinetmaker, we're home to industry-leading brands including KraftMaid, Medallion, and Merillat. We're looking for someone ready to make an impact and grow our presence in the dealer market.

What You'll Own

  • Win New Business: Identify opportunities, open new dealer accounts, and convert competitive business.
  • Build Powerful Relationships: Connect with dealer owners, decision makers, and industry partners.
  • Drive Territory Growth: Create and execute your own strategy to expand market share and deliver results.
  • Influence & Inspire: Bring energy, confidence, and product expertise to every customer interaction.
  • Make It Happen: Take initiative, overcome obstacles, and turn opportunities into measurable wins.

What Makes You Successful

  • You're competitive, confident, and motivated by results.
  • You love meeting new people, building connections, and closing deals.
  • You thrive with independence, ownership, and the freedom to make decisions.
  • You're persistent, adaptable, and comfortable challenging the status quo.
  • You bring at least 8 years of successful outside sales experience, ideally in cabinetry, building products, or the kitchen-and-bath industry.
  • You have a track record of winning new accounts and growing sales.

Why Cabinetworks?

You'll represent recognized industry brands, have the opportunity to build and grow your territory, and be rewarded for the results you deliver.

We offer competitive base pay, commission opportunities, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and more.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Grow sales of Cabinetworks Group brands within a designated territory by opening new dealer accounts, converting competitive cabinetry business, and expanding sales with existing dealers. This is a growth-focused outside sales role for a driven hunter who actively prospects, earns access to decision makers, and follows opportunities through to orders.

The ideal candidate combines strong cabinet knowledge or established kitchen-and-bath dealer relationships with a proven record of winning new business. We are looking for a competitive, self-motivated professional who takes ownership of territory results, pursues opportunities with persistence, and acts with urgency. Success will be measured by new dealer acquisition, productive account launches, competitive conversions, increased share of wallet, and profitable territory growth.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute short- and long-term territory growth plans to increase sales, expand brand placements, and open qualified kitchen-and-bath dealer accounts
  • Aggressively pursue independent kitchen-and-bath dealers serving small to midsize custom home builders and upscale remodeling contractors; identify and convert business from competing cabinet manufacturers
  • Build and maintain a qualified prospect pipeline with expected revenue potential, clear next steps, and timely follow-up commitments documented in the CRM system
  • Maintain a disciplined call cycle with consistent prospecting, in-person dealer visits, and timely follow-through to convert opportunities into orders
  • Build trusted relationships with dealer owners, purchasing decision makers, sales teams, and designers; earn greater customer loyalty, expand brand placements, and increase share of wallet
  • Train and support dealer personnel on Cabinetworks Group brands and programs; lead new-dealer onboarding from account approval through initial orders and repeat business
  • Proactively resolve field warranty and product issues in partnership with customer service, dealers, and distributors while maintaining focus on territory growth
  • Take personal ownership of territory results, execute against growth objectives, deliver on commitments, and take corrective action when performance falls short

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years of selling experience with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years of successful outside sales experience in cabinetry or building products serving kitchen-and-bath dealers
  • Demonstrated success acquiring new accounts and converting competitive business, with specific examples of accounts opened and sales generated
  • Strong cabinet product and dealer-channel knowledge, or established dealer relationships supported by relevant building-products sales experience
  • Ability to prospect independently, secure meetings with decision makers, handle objections, and ask for the business
  • Proven ability to manage a territory, maintain a sales pipeline, and deliver measurable growth
  • Highly self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented, with demonstrated ambition to exceed sales expectations
  • Persistent and resilient in prospecting, overcoming objections, responding to rejection, and pursuing competitive conversions
  • Strong personal accountability, sense of urgency, and consistent follow-through on commitments
  • Demonstrated coachability, openness to feedback, and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop productive partnerships and collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, adapt quickly, and perform effectively without daily supervision
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Five or more years of successful territory development in cabinetry or closely related building products
  • Demonstrated competitive conversions and measurable new-account revenue growth
  • Established relationships with independent kitchen-and-bath dealers in the assigned territory
  • Experience selling cabinetry across multiple price points and brands
  • Working knowledge of cabinet construction, specifications, ordering, kitchen layouts, design, and installation
  • 20/20 Design software and Salesforce experience
