The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Territory Manager to join our Gold Coast based team within our highly successful Cardiac Rhythm division.  The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and growth within their defined territory as well as supporting Health Care Professionals by providing education and support. 

This role would suit someone with CRM or Cathlab experience wanting to making a lifestyle change by relocating to the Gold Coast. 

What You’ll Do

  • Achieve sales targets and increase market share for assigned territory.
  • Proactively drive sales and develop initiatives.
  • Manage all aspects of the customer relationship; engage senior leadership as needed.
  • Attend company sales meetings as required and act as a key contributor in sales meetings.
  • Actively implement and execute on sales force effectiveness initiatives to help drive business growth.
  • Utilise available sales analysis tools to assist in territory planning and internal resources to assist servicing customers.
  • Manage consignment stock.
  • Maintain accurate customer profiles.
  • Assist with product marketing and launches.
  • Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity.
  • This role requires participation in the relevant on-call roster applicable to your role.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical or Business Management field
  • CRM and/or Cathlab experience is essential
  • It is a requirement of your role that obtain and maintain certification as specified by Abbott.
  • Is intellectually curious and understands the responsibility of continuous learning and willingness to learn and be coached
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region, as well as other regions as required
  • Maintain a valid driver’s licence
  • Excellent communication, persuasion and selling skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Gold Coast.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • IBHRE Certified preferred
  • Prior CRM/cathlab experience highly preferred
