About the role.
The Territory Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of team leaders within their designated territory. This role involves ensuring successful customer onboarding, integration, and training, as well as maintaining alignment with the overall departmental goals.
- Team Leadership and Management:
Manage Team Leaders: Including setting goals, performance reviews, and ensuring weekend coverage.
Performance Reporting: Provide monthly reports on key metrics such as account trends, accounts returned to sales, disputed graduations, and accounts lost.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Customer Retention, Service, and Sales Teams to enhance customer experience. - Process Optimization: When necessary, adjust processes to align with customer needs and improve efficiency within the territory.
Strategic Territory Management: Oversee overall territory performance, ensuring alignment with departmental goals. - Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure regional adherence to global strategies and KYC compliance.
Innovative Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Customer Journey Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and enhance the customer journey from onboarding to graduation.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience leading managers or Team Leaders in a performance-driven environment
- Strong coaching skills and the ability to hold others accountable
- Confident using data to make informed decisions and drive change
- Experience managing resource planning (e.g. rotas, absences, training coverage)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels
- Comfortable with fast-paced, changing environments and managing through uncertainty
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience in tech, SaaS, retail, or hospitality sectors
- Understanding of KYC or compliance processes
- Exposure to AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot
