Sales and account management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with grocery store managers, buyers, and key decision-makers, particularly within Pak N Save locations.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by presenting ZURU’s product range and negotiating shelf placements and promotional opportunities.
Get into stores, provide insights and updates on results:
- Regularly visit stores across the North Island to strengthen partnerships and assess in-store opportunities.
- Manage and optimise call cycles to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand product distribution into additional grocery stores.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, call cycles, and customer feedback.
Execution excellence:
- Ensure ZURU products are displayed prominently and according to planograms.
- Monitor stock levels in stores, suggest reorders, and prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Implement promotional activities and in-store campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
Event and Trade Show support:
- Represent ZURU at regional trade shows, industry events, and in-store promotional events as needed.
- Set up displays and conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and store staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in field sales within the FMCG or grocery sector.
- Strong understanding of the New Zealand grocery landscape, including Pak N Save + New World stores.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently on the road.
- Valid New Zealand driver’s license and ability to travel frequently across the North Island (Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga)
