As a Virtual Sales Territory Manager within our Alternate Site team, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our US Hospital Product portfolio and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy building relationships, and establishing trust with materials management, nursing, pharmacy, risk management and other departments throughout alternate care settings.

What you’ll be doing:
Achieving sales goals for Baxter’s product portfolio in the Territory which include but are not limited to Baxter’s Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, Pharma, and Fluid Therapy portfolios
Implementing sales strategies and executing business plan to achieve sales volume, product mix, and profit objectives
Calling on alternate site customers include (Home Infusion, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Consulting Pharmacies, Physician Offices, Oncology and Distributors), delivering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and education
The complete range of duties include, but are not limited to, achievement of sales/GP budget, contract management, product introduction/detailing, pricing negotiation, problem resolution & product conversions.
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years’ experience or 4+ years of relevant experience
Minimum of high school diploma or GED required
Medical/inside sales experience preferred
Willing to travel 10% travel to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel
Must be highly motivated, energetic, and resourceful
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to balance team/individual responsibilities and contribute to building a positive team culture
Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $52,800 to $132,000 plus a commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
