Job Summary

The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving territory sales targets by managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and business development to product demonstrations, tender submissions, negotiations, and closing sales.

Working closely with healthcare professionals, hospital decision-makers, and key stakeholders, the Territory Manager promotes innovative medical technologies, develops strategic customer relationships, and identifies new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence. The role also provides post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships while contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with business objectives.

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through effective territory management and strategic account development.

  • Identify, develop, and grow new business opportunities within hospitals and healthcare institutions.

  • Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, and presentations to healthcare professionals.

  • Lead and manage the tender process, including RFP preparation, product presentations, customer interviews, and contract negotiations.

  • Collaborate with Business Partners on strategic projects, key accounts, and large-scale tender opportunities.

  • Deliver post-sales support through customer follow-up, product implementation, and in-service training.

  • Organise and support resuscitation education and clinical initiatives to strengthen customer engagement.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, procurement teams, and other key decision-makers.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and support business growth.

  • Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and pipeline management using Salesforce.com or other CRM systems.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification; a nursing or clinical background is an advantage.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the medical device or medical equipment industry.

  • At least 3 years of successful sales experience, with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience working with hospitals, healthcare providers, and tender-based sales environments.

  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes and healthcare sales.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or other CRM systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently work a large geographic territory.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • Ability to travel upwards of 50% to facilitate in-person prospecting, product demonstrations, face to face meetings, and relationship building.

  • Public Safety/EMS Industry background/knowledge

  • This job is a field-based position. Employee will be responsible for working daily in hospitals, doctors’ offices and other medical establishments within the assigned territory. Occasionally may be required work atypical hours (evenings and weekends) based on business needs.
