The Opportunity

We are looking for a Territory Account Manager to manage and grow our customer base across North East England and Yorkshire.

This role combines account management and new business development, with approximately 50% of your time focused on winning new customers while continuing to grow and retain existing accounts.

You’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth, building strategic relationships, and delivering innovative hygiene solutions that help our customers improve performance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Account Growth & Retention

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing customers across your territory
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow account value
  • Deliver high-quality account management to maximise customer retention and satisfaction

New Business Development

  • Dedicate 50% of your time to prospecting and acquiring new customers
  • Identify opportunities within your territory and convert them into long-term partnerships
  • Present and promote innovative cleaning and hygiene solutions

Customer Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders including Operations, Procurement, and Sustainability teams
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure solutions are performing effectively
  • Provide guidance on best practices and product optimisation

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with internal teams to support new business implementation and customer success
  • Use remote diagnostic tools to provide efficient customer support and perform minor service adjustments during visits
  • Maintain accurate reporting and account updates through Salesforce and Excel

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Proven success in territory sales, account management, or business development roles
  • Experience within the cleaning, hygiene, facilities, or related industries is advantageous

Skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Salesforce

Personal Attributes

  • Customer-focused and results-driven
  • Proactive and confident in developing new business opportunities
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence required.
