Your new role

The individual will need to be able to develop strategic and long-term relationships with key customers and develop commercial strategies aimed at increasing the company's turnover, directly or through agencies management. Establish a relationship of loyalty with consumers; Assume responsibility for the company's sales, profits, and overall success; Take charge and solve any problems. to create value for the customer (customer satisfaction).

What you’ll be doing

  • Establish Quidel presence in the defined area(s)/region(s) through the acquisition of new customers.

  • Accelerate growth and identify and follow up new business opportunities at an account level.

  • Consultative selling to existing & prospective customers, including presenting our products & services.

  • Identify and provide support about tender offering and calculation of tender preparation.

  • Cooperate with Laboratory Specialists & Field Engineers and Marketing.

  • Overseeing CRM (SFDC) management, inventory management, forecasting, and facilitating internal division tasks.

  • Own and be accountable for delivering business results in line with the business plan for the area.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Minimum of a degree in a relevant field, or equivalent demonstrable work experience with a focus on a scientific/healthcare-related field (e.g. biology, pharmacy, chemistry, medicine, health care, medical technologies, diagnostics)

  • Proven track record of account management, sales, or product support. Ideally possessing a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working within a similar organizational environment (preferably diagnostics).

  • Excellent knowledge of the market.

  • Remarkable communication and interpersonal skills (as well as a good dose of charisma), aptitude for sales, and persuasion skills.

  • Adaptability to changing scenarios, and readiness to work under pressure.

  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.

  • Good English.
