Main Purpose:Supervise the filling of tankers, discharge and loading of vessels, transfer of product between tanks, loading rack and supervision of Terminal maintenance and Operations personnel.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

  • Review daily inventory movement by means of reports to verify that there are no deficits or surpluses, or any operations performed wrongly. Review the facility operations daily by means of inspection rounds and reports. Program preventive and corrective maintenance and recommend these to Plant Superintendent.
  • Prepare and request purchase orders for tools, materials and equipment following approved process and procedure.
  • Prepare work orders in the appropriate forms to ensure that work within the Terminal is performed with maximum
  • Security and in the safety conditions.
  • Perform and/or coordinate with contractors, maintenance activities at the Terminal based on programs previously determined by the Superintendence. Comply with any task entrusted by the Superintendent within the operations of the Terminal.
  • Supervise Terminal employees as required. Supervise and coordinate Plant personnel schedules and activities. Participate in all training courses scheduled by the Superintendence of the Terminal, as well as in all contingency drills.
  • Comply with company requirements and systems relating to SAPS, HSEC & Quality and other company policies

HSE Responsibilities – General Employee
As part of each employee’s legal and moral responsibility to Puma Energy PNG, you are to support management by:

  • Cooperating with the Company to enable compliance with any duty imposed upon them by law.
  • Using properly and effectively equipment designed to safeguard his / her well being
  • Being aware of factors or situations that may impact upon the quality of the product and service and the environment.
  • Following implicitly the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Policy / Procedures / Work Instructions as communicated in writing or as instructions received orally
  • Comply with the Company’s procedures and the relevant legislation regarding the Injury Management process.
  • To formally report to their Manager any concern or incident / injury / non-conformance in any aspect of their work and complete the Puma Energy PNG Incident / Non-Conformance Report form.
  • To formally report to their Manager or supervisor any hazard, practice or condition that will affect safety or production or the community.
  • All forms are completed as outlined in the procedures
  • Any discrepancies of goods / services received are to be addressed through the Non-Conformance procedures
  • All products are to be verified at appropriate stages as outlined in procedures and a record maintained

Experience:
• Electrical, mechanical or industrial engineer.
• 5 years minimum experience in industrial facilities in areas related to maintenance, production and industrial safety.
• 10 years minimum experience if educational requirements not met.
• Preferably with knowledge of ISO 9000- Quality Management System (QMS).
Skills:
• Computer literacy: Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual: English and + (depending on location).

• Great organizational drive

Key Relationships and Department Overview:

  • Internal – Terminal Operators, Terminal Admin Supervisors, Dispatchers, Plant Assistants/Fitters
  • External – Providers, security, inspectors.
