Job DescriptionThis position of Terminal Manager will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the Whitehorse terminal and the surrounding service area.
- Day to day operations located in Whitehorse, YT, including Customer Service and Administrative responsibilities
- Ensuring Health and Safety standards are maintained
- Ensure Facility and Vehicle maintenance requirements are met
- Obtain optimum use of equipment and personnel, as well as ensuring that service standards are met or exceeded
- Monitoring and control of daily reports as required coordinate work schedules for terminal operations and ensure proper staffing levels are in place
- Work with Human Resources on recruitment, training, coaching and disciplinary issues
- Use of a Company Truck
- Class 1 would be an asset
- Post Secondary Education would be an asset
- Customer Service background
- Background in LTL, and labor management experience
- Familiar with Health and Safety
