What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate and monitor terminal equipment for cement/slag receiving, storage, and loading operations.
- Load bulk cement/slag into trucks, railcars, and other transportation equipment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of terminal equipment and tools.
- Complete inventory tracking, shipment documentation, and other computer-based operational tasks.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while supporting terminal and plant operations.
What Are We Looking For
- Fluent Spanish and English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Ability to safely operate equipment, use power tools, and perform basic mechanical and troubleshooting tasks.
- Comfortable using computers and technology to complete operational and administrative responsibilities.
- Flexibility to travel between two plant locations (Cape Canaveral and Ft Lauderdale).
- Able to work varying shifts (days, nights, swings) based on business needs.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, teamwork, and delivering quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in a cement terminal and plant environment with exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and varying weather conditions.
- Regular walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and working around mobile equipment is required.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is always required.
- Must be willing to workdays, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, including scheduled and unscheduled hours, to meet operational needs.
