Tenpay Global is seeking a Strategic Partnership Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion of Tencent's global cross-border payment network, collaborating with key industry players across the APAC region. Shortlisted individuals will be required to commit to a 6 months' internship from April 2025 onwards.
- Collaborate with the local business development team to identify and pursue new business and partnership opportunities within the APAC region, aimed at enhancing Tencent's global cross-border payment network in the remittance and payment sectors.
- Coordinate across multiple internal functions—including legal, compliance, operations, and product teams—to manage all facets of the partnership process. This includes lead selection, commercial contract negotiation, onboarding, implementation, and other administrative tasks.
- Support key partner relationships by assisting with product, compliance, and technical issues, ensuring smooth collaboration and resolution of any challenges.
- Create and update sales materials tailored for various fintech and merchant verticals to support the business development efforts.
- Conduct research on emerging trends in remittance and payments behavior within key target markets to inform strategic decisions.
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong interest in building a career in the FinTech payment space.
- Ability to commit for a 6 months' internship on a full-time basis
- Highly self-motivated with a passion for fintech and payments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (Fluency in spoken Mandarin and written Chinese is preferred to facilitate communication with key stakeholders at headquarters).
- Strong drive for continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
