Job Description SummaryReporting hierarchically to the Region Tendering leader, the Tendering Specialist is responsible to manage the tendering process and oversee the complete lifecycle of a bid, from identifying new opportunities to submitting a final proposal and following up on the outcome on HVDC/FACTs projects. The candidate supports in driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and developing pricing strategies.
You shall be responsible for formulating effective strategies for the bidding process, managing resources and ensuring compliance with client requirements. Successful candidate shall be well versed with creating comprehensive bid documents, ensuring precision and adherence to company guidelines while coordinating with vendors.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of a bid, from identifying new opportunities to submitting a final proposal and following up on the outcome, mainly for HVDC/FACTs projects.
  • Review and analyze client requirements, technical specifications, and contract terms to understand project scope and potential risks.Formulate competitive bid strategies that align with the company's objectives and market conditions to win new projects. 
  • Collaborate with various departments, such as engineering, finance, legal, and procurement, to gather information and develop comprehensive proposals. 
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive offers and customers’ preferences to enhance bid strategies
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and conduct risk assessments for bids and related contract agreements. 
  • Participate in or lead negotiations on contract terms and conditions with clients and subcontractors. 
  • Keep an accurate and up-to-date database of all tender activities, submissions, and outcomes. 
  • Review of information about demands and derivation of supply and proposal preparations. Coordination of HVDC/FACTS tender reviews and deadlines and adjust them to the frameworks given by the customers with all stakeholders. 

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or business from an accredited university·    
  • > 10 years of sales experience within the power and renewables industry
  • Experience in carrying out market assessments and subsequently developing and implementing relevant commercial strategies that facilitate market penetration

  • Experience in high value and complex ACS tenders
