About the role Job SummaryThe Tendering Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to sales teams and conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific pricing.

Job Purpose: This role is to act as a Leading technical negotiations with subcontractors. Ensuring a complete and successful order handover to project team Regular maintenance of our sales systems and the data contained therein
Join our Energy team within Flow Equipment division in India as Tendering Engineer / Executive (TE) to help us take us to the next level.
Your Tasks :
- On time Submission of tenders
- Techno commercially optimum and competitive offers preparation.
- On time submission and closure of technical clarifications, technical bid clarification meeting as required
- Clear handover of the project to the project team after order, attending ORM1 meeting
- Close project open points if any and attend customer KOM if required
- Analyse RFQs, tender and bid documents for centrifugal pumps (API 610, ISO, ANSI, API 610 / ISO 5199 / ISO 2858 / client specs)
- horizontal/vertical, multistage, etc.)
- Basic Knowledge for Bought out items like, Mechanical Seal & Seal Plan, Motors, Lube Oil System
- Provide pre-bid clarifications to customer.
- Co-ordinate with Procurement for bought out items, factory for delivery timelines & Sales for commercial terms and margins.
- Co-ordinate with the Engineering team to modify the hydraulic as per the customer requirements.
- Support sales teams during Negotiations & Pre- Bid technical Justifications

Experience in centrifugal pump industry mandatory.Experience in Centrifugal pump hydraulics and Material selection & metallurgyRelevant experience within related industry, with knowledge of industry practices & standards desirable like API 610, ISO pump standard.Must have hands on experience in MS Excel (costing & datasheets) & Reading P&IDs and specification.Independent and proactive with good communication & interpersonal skills.Ability to learn and adapt quickly and drive for Excellency & Competency.High sense of ownership, strong work ethic, focused on details and results oriented.Work Place – Digha, Navi Mumbai

Skills Required
- BE Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 10-15 years of experience in tendering
- Experience in centrifugal pump industry
- Knowledge of centrifugal pump hydraulics, material selection and metallurgy
- Familiarity with industry standards (API 610, ISO 5199, ISO 2858, ANSI)
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel (costing & datasheets)
- Ability to read P&IDs and specifications
- Basic knowledge of bought-out items (mechanical seals, motors, lube oil systems)
- Experience in tender submission, technical clarifications, and bid negotiations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, independent, high ownership, attention to detail and results oriented
