Position Summary

The Tenant Services Coordinator (TSC) oversees housing services and stabilization for individuals in permanent supportive housing. This role works closely with participants, landlords, property managers, and service teams to help individuals obtain and maintain safe, stable housing in compliance with funder and regulatory requirements.

This is a mobile, community-based role requiring field work, walking, and public transportation use year-round.

What You’ll Do

As a Tenant Services Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide housing services and stabilization support in the community

  • Maintain regular participant contact (in-person, phone)

  • Serve as liaison between participants, landlords, property managers, and county partners

  • Support move-ins, lease education, rent payment, and apartment upkeep

  • Monitor tenancy issues and intervene early to prevent housing loss

  • Coordinate services and benefits; make referrals as needed

  • Maintain accurate documentation in EHR within required timeframes

  • Ensure compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, and funder guidelines

  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and required trainings

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services (required) with 3+ years housing experience
    OR

  • Master’s degree in human services (preferred) with 1+ year housing experience

  • 2+ years experience supporting individuals in mental health recovery and housing

  • CPRP certification preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records

  • Valid driver’s license

  • State police, child abuse, and FBI clearances
