Position Overview:
The Temporary Support Staff is responsible for providing short-term support to meet organizational needs, including coverage for staff absences, project-based work, or periods of increased operational demand. This role requires adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to quickly integrate into assigned duties with minimal onboarding time. Support will be provided in various departments such as IT, Admissions & Operations. This is a non-exempt part-time position. Hours may vary, not to exceed 25 hours a week.
Essential Functions:
- Perform assigned duties aligned with the needs of the department or project
- Provide coverage for employees on leave or during staffing shortages
- Support day-to-day operations, ensuring continuity and efficiency
- Complete administrative, instructional, or operational tasks as assigned
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, as required
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and objectives
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and workplace standards
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred (depending on assignment)
- Prior experience in a similar role or relevant field preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
- Work schedule may vary based on organizational needs
- May require standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods (role-dependent)
