Job Description:

Temporary Senior Resource Coordinator – Cybersecurity Consulting

The Senior Resource Management Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Crowe's Cybersecurity Consulting practice by coordinating consultant assignments and helping ensure the right professionals are aligned to the right client engagements.

As a trusted operational partner, this role collaborates with consulting professionals, engagement leaders, and resource management leadership to facilitate day-to-day staffing activities, maintain accurate resource schedules, and support an exceptional employee experience. Success in this position requires effective organization, prioritization, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across the practice.

Essential Responsibilities

Resource Scheduling & Coordination

Coordinate consultant assignments based on project requirements, employee availability, technical skill sets, and professional development opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate consultant schedules and staffing assignments within the firm's resource management platform (Retain).
  • Enter and maintain client demand, project assignments, and staffing changes.
  • Monitor upcoming staffing changes and proactively communicate schedule updates.
  • Identify staffing conflicts and collaborate with leaders to determine appropriate resolutions.
  • Ensure resource schedules remain accurate, current, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple staffing requests in a fast-paced environment.

Resource Operations

  • Maintain resource management data with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Prepare operational reports using Retain, Power BI, Excel, and other business tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with testing and implementation of enhancements to resource management tools and processes.

Employee & Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as the primary scheduling contact for assigned consulting professionals.
  • Onboard new hires to the Cybersecurity Resource Management process and scheduling expectations.
  • Communicate staffing assignments and schedule changes clearly, accurately, and proactively.
  • Build trusted working relationships with consultants, managers, directors, and engagement leaders.
  • Deliver exceptional internal customer service by responding promptly and professionally to staffing questions and requests.
  • Partner with consulting professionals to understand scheduling preferences and career development interests while balancing business needs.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with engagement teams to understand project staffing requirements.
  • Work effectively with multiple stakeholders while balancing changing priorities.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented Resource Management function focused on operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability as business priorities evolve.
  • Partner closely with Resource Management leadership to support day-to-day staffing operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in resource management, project coordination, consulting operations, workforce coordination, scheduling, professional services, or a similar client-facing operational role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, filtering, and data organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with professionals at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a positive, customer-focused approach.
  • Experience using resource management or scheduling software (Retain experience is a plus).

Preferred

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, technology consulting, IT consulting, or professional services organization.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity consulting services, technical skill sets, and common industry certifications is a plus.
