ABOUT THE ROLE
“If you love media management so much, why don’t you marry it?” You’ve heard that before. So. Many. Times. Well, there’s good news for you: in this role, you can finally recite nuptials to media management. Wait, how is that possible you ask? It’s actually quite easy (but not exactly legal yet) for you to put a ring on it. We’re looking for a Temporary Senior Paid Media Strategist to run our paid media performance and awareness marketing campaigns. And if you say, “I do” then you’ll be coupled up with your true love forever-ever.
Sound like you? Hip Hip Hooray! This role will be tasked with leading all paid media marketing initiatives for the brand. You’ll get to work with the best, brightest, and bizarrest minds in marketing to help elevate goodr’s performance and brand awareness across all media. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with internal and external teams to bring world-class marketing practices and first-to-market concepts to life
- Create cohesive messaging, performance, and awareness strategies across several channels
- Establish key performance indicators for paid media
- Analyze media data to make informed planning decisions and key recommendations around optimization
- Lead paid awareness initiatives from strategy to execution and reporting
- Leverage your strong understanding of paid media marketing across key channels including Paid Social, Display, Search, Affiliates, Audio, CTV and OOH in e-commerce setting
- Lead and drive campaigns that connect with consumers through brand innovation, experiences, and content that drive brand awareness
- Ensure goodr brand messaging and effective marketing practices are being used
- Contribute to overall strategy to drive new customer acquisition
- Manage communication and strategic conversations with all external agencies/partners/vendors
- Ensure all creative needs and deadlines are being communicated to internal and external partners
- Manage annual media budget and billing process to ensure all dollars are tracked accurately
- Maintain dashboards of performance for key online and offline channels
- Monitor key online marketing metrics to track success
- This role is in the Media team and will report directly to the Director of Media
- Perform other related duties as assigned
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Loves everything above
- May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
- Asks a lot of questions
- 5+ years of working experience in media, brand marketing or communications
- Agency experience is a plus!
- Thinks no job is too small
- Has experience pitching and presenting
- Experience at a multi-channel consumer packaged goods retailer and/or driving online-to-offline programs is a STRONG plus
- Thinks marketing analytics are fun
- Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency (a team player!)
- Enthusiastically approaches opportunities to work with various teams
- Loves the work more than a paycheck
- Is happy to give away credit to their team
- Loves getting and giving feedback
- Thinks Fun is being great (not partying)
