Temporary Research Assistant

Brandeis University seeks to hire a temporary Research Assistant to work on completing manuscripts. The work that remains to be done is complex computation and programming, all oriented toward completing some much-needed analyses having to do with the real-time neural population dynamics of taste processing.

This is a temporary position, up to 8 hours a week through 12/31/2026.

The pay rate is $27.47/ hour.

Job Duties:

• Complete reviewer-requested analyses for an in-press paper.
• Perform extensive analyses for an in-prep manuscript. 

Qualfications:

Bachelor’s degree required, a PhD preferred plus 5-8 years relevant work experience

Expert programming (Python) skill; ability to interact at a high level with collaborators and critics; excellent time-management skills.
