Now Hiring: Temporary Manager – Data, Analytics, and Reporting Audit

Location: Remote

Focus: Third Line Internal Audit – Data & Reporting Issue Validation

RSM is seeking a skilled Temporary Audit Manager to join our Global Bank Practice, supporting the third line of defense internal audit function at a large global banking client. This role will focus on leading validation work tied to regulatory issue remediation efforts, with emphasis on data management systems, analytics platforms, and reporting applications.

• Lead internal audit validation of data systems, reporting platforms, and analytics tools as part of issue remediation and consent order follow-up

• Review and assess Python and SQL code used for data processing and reporting

• Evaluate database management systems (DBMS), data pipelines, and access controls for design and operating effectiveness

• Audit tools such as Alteryx, focusing on data lineage, reporting logic, and ad hoc analytics

• Validate technical controls and ensure alignment with regulatory and bank standards

• Prepare audit documentation and reporting consistent with third third-line internal audit methodology

• 7+ years of internal audit experience with a focus on data, reporting, and analytics

• Proven experience working with or auditing large global banks

• Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and platforms like Alteryx

• Familiarity with regulatory remediation and issue validation in complex banking environments

• Ability to evaluate technical processes and communicate findings clearly and effectively

• Strong documentation and reporting skills aligned with internal audit and regulatory expectations
