We are looking for a temporary logistics analyst to join our distribution team. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding temporary job, with the opportunity to work on value added projects, please apply today! This is a $20.00/hr temporary position through the summer.
Main Responsibilities:
Work with Logistics team to review existing customer fines, understand categorization of fines and identify opportunities to push for more detail.
Work with deductions team, during deduction receipt to determine if customers/deductions to understand deduction origins and that we are entering the fines in the correct, correlating buckets.
Determine trends and/or tolerances that customers may be exploiting/taking advantage of.
Work with inventory team and 3PL partners to validate/dispute OS&D issues received at customer.
Track path for fines/deductions, and determine process flow for how/when they come in to the deductions team.
Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in logistics management, supply chain management, operations management, or have relevant experience.
Strong desire and eagerness to work in supply chain / operations in a corporate environment.
Able to work independently and motivated to find solutions.
Strong communication skills.
Able to work across across functional team and prioritize actions to gain positive marginal utility across fine categories.
High level of attention to details with strong problem solving skills.
Flexible and willing to go where the data leads.
Ability to work with MS Office Suite (Work, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
Comfortable processing large data files (Excel).
Compensation:
Base Pay Range:
$16.00 - $26.67Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
