Job Description - Temporary General Labourer (2 month contract)
Location: Anjou, QC
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary General Labourer to support the repair process at our Factory Service Centre locations. The role focuses on material handling, tool flow, and shipping support to ensure technicians and staff can work efficiently. The position requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized processes in a fast-paced team environment.
What You Will Do
Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality of materials.
Support the unboxing of incoming tools and stage them for order entry.
Act as a parts runner by pulling and delivering inventory to technicians and support staff.
Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders, including building boxes, placing tools inside with appropriate protective fill, sealing/taping, labeling, and staging for pickup.
Organize and store materials and products in designated locations.
Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
What You Will Bring
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or general labour an asset.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks) safely; certification is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Basic computer skills for inventory management
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (50+lbs).
Ability to work in varying temperatures (Seasonally).
