Main Purpose

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that we are recording accurate time and attendance on our platform to deliver an accurate payment experience to our Job Seekers and Clients while supporting the billing process for client invoices.

This is a 3-month temporary assignment 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage finance team - including accountants and financial assistants, overseeing day-to-day operations of staff, company accounts, and investments
  • Create regular reports to identify actual results, trends, and financial forecasts and present that information to internal stakeholders and leaders
  • Drive a digitally transformed finance department, seeking out opportunities for improvements for accounting processes, systems, including payroll and invoicing
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
  • Establish financial reporting processes and systems that comply with government regulations and legislation
  • Collaborate with auditing services - internal and external - to ensure proper compliance
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Create processes, systems, redundancies and checks to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
  • Prepare, review, and report regularly on financial results in a timely manner in compliance with US GAAP
  • Assist finance leadership with research and analysis of data to create metrics and reports, and in presenting valuable information to board members, executives, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a finance role, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience leading a team or managing others
  • Exceptionally tech-savvy, strong skills in Excel, reporting and data visualization tools, finance software, etc
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities and able to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills - able to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication, present meaningful and impactful information for leadership to make decisions, and support direct reports and internal stakeholders on-site and virtually through remote work tools
  • Preference for familiarity with NetSuite finance system
  • Preference for experience in Staffing, Recruiting, SaaS, or Tech domains
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace software suite
  • Highly proficient with utilizing several tools to enable real-time collaboration with a globally distributed workforce such as Miro, Monday, Salesforce, Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, etc
