Lifehouse is seeking an organized, people-centered Temporary Events Coordinator to support our Development Team with planning and execution of our annual fundraising event. This temporary position will help coordinate vendors, restaurants, event logistics, and other on-site event needs to help ensure a successful event that advances the mission of Lifehouse. This role is anticipated to last through March of 2027.
What you will do:
- Coordinate communication and follow-up with participating restaurants, vendors and event partners.
- Maintain, organize, and track event-related documentation, permits, licenses, and deadline.
- Coordinate event logistics, including equipment, power, signage, supplies, floor plans, and vendor placement.
- Assist with sponsorship and other event-related administrative activities.
- Work closely with the Development Team and other Lifehouse staff to keep event details on track.
- Assist with event setup and on-site coordination, identifying and resolving logistics issues that may arise.
What you will bring:
- Event, hospitality, nonprofit, and/or administrative experience highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Clous applications a plus.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating events, vendors, hospitality, or similar projects.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and online collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a variety of people.
- Calm, resourceful, and flexible when plans change.
Pay: $32.00 - 34.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: San Rafael, California
Type: Temporary opportunity anticipated to take place from time of hire through March of 2027.
