Job Objective: Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data. This role focuses on implementing data auditing, cleansing, deduplication, and governance processes aligned with industry best practices and modern technological tools.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of clinical, operational, sales, and claims data.
- Design and implement automated rules to detect duplicates and correct inaccurate records.
- Monitor data integration between internal systems and the data warehouse.
- Handle requests for data validation, migration, and cleansing, including legacy system transitions.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define data requirements.
- Research and apply Data Governance methodologies and metadata management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
Training through courses or diplomas in Data Science, Business Intelligence, or Information Management (preferred).
Technical Skills (Required):
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) for data analysis and cleansing.
- Experience with data quality tools such as Data Quality Services (DQS) or similar.
- Knowledge of data quality rule creation, standardization, and deduplication.
- Familiarity with Data Governance methodologies and metadata management.
Technical Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration from multiple sources.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Platform: Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric for monitoring data quality in pipelines.
- Knowledge of Power BI for developing data quality dashboards and reports.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Effective communication to translate technical requirements into business language.
Proactive mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
