The Role

We are looking for a Telesales Representative - Outbound to join our Customer Retention group, as we scale up and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets.

As a Telesales Representative, you will be the person who brings exciting opportunities directly to our customers, calling them to share new products like smartphones and other great offerings. Working from our Kampala office, you'll help customers discover what's possible and guide them toward products that can make their lives more enjoyable.

At M-KOPA, we believe everyone deserves access to quality products that improve their lives. You will connect customers with the technology they want by reaching out to existing customers who already trust us and showing them what's new and available. Your conversations will help families across Uganda get access to products like televisions that can bring entertainment, education, and connection right into their homes.

You'll make calls to existing customers to tell them about smartphone upgrades and other M-KOPA products, work toward meeting your sales goals, and ensure every customer has a great experience when talking with you. You'll also maintain high call quality standards and manage your time well to help as many customers as possible each day.

This is an onsite role in Kampala reporting to the Telesales Team Lead.

We need someone with a certificate, diploma, or higher qualification and experience in call centers or customer service. You should have a strong passion for sales and be naturally good at communication, persuasion, and talking with customers.

You should be comfortable using basic computer tools like Outlook and Microsoft Office, and have a self-driven, results-oriented attitude. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic about helping customers and committed to doing the right thing.
