Reports To: Telesales Team Leader
TLS for business loan is responsible for driving loan conversion among accredited merchant partners of Salmon Phils. The role focuses on outbound calling, loan presentation, qualification, document collection, coordination with underwriting, and post-release follow-ups. The position ensures smooth end-to-end client experience from initial contact to loan release and payment monitoring.
Sales & Client Engagement
Conduct outbound calls to accredited merchants.
Introduce and present the Business Loan Program.
Explain loan purpose, benefits, terms, limits, and repayment structure.
Assess merchant business condition and identify financing needs.
Handle objections professionally and persuasively.
Convert qualified leads into loan applications.
Loan Qualification & Assessment
Conduct structured qualifying questions.
Evaluate merchant eligibility based on:
Length of business operation
Revenue capacity
Existing loan obligations
Checking account availability
Ensure accurate information collection prior to endorsement.
Documentation & Application Processing
Clearly explain documentary requirements to merchants.
Facilitate document submission via Messenger or Email.
Review submitted documents for completeness.
Upload complete application and documents to Confluence.
Endorse applications to Underwriting.
Follow up on incomplete submissions.
Approval & Closing Coordination
Inform merchants of loan approval or disapproval.
Discuss approved loan amount and terms & conditions.
Secure merchant agreement to proceed.
Schedule contract signing visits.
Coordinate with Telesales Manager for on-site visits.
Facilitate collection of signed contracts and PDCs.
File Endorsement & Loan Release Coordination
Verify completeness of signed contracts and PDCs.
Endorse complete files to Loan Release / Nikoley for fund transfer.
Confirm successful crediting of loan proceeds to merchant.
Post-Release Monitoring
Conduct reminder calls five (5) days before payment due dates.
Monitor payment performance.
Coordinate with merchants regarding upcoming PDC deposits.
Escalate payment concerns when necessary.

Senior high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, or a related field is preferred.
At least 1–2 years of telesales, outbound sales, banking, lending, fintech, insurance, or financial-services experience.
Experience selling business loans, working-capital facilities, credit lines, merchant financing, or similar products is an advantage.
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and consistently working toward daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Basic understanding of business financial documents, such as bank statements, income statements, tax returns, sales records, and business permits.
Proficiency with customer relationship management systems, dialers, email, spreadsheets, and office applications.
Strong spoken and written communication skills in the language required by the target market.
Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary to reach business owners and decision-makers.
Ability to pass background, reference, and compliance checks where required.
Prospecting: Identifying qualified business owners and decision-makers from leads, referrals, and databases.
Needs assessment: Asking effective questions about financing purpose, desired loan amount, monthly revenue, business age, cash flow, and repayment capacity.
Consultative selling: Matching the customer’s needs with the most appropriate loan product rather than relying only on scripted selling.
Product presentation: Clearly explaining loan amounts, interest or factor rates, fees, repayment terms, security requirements, and application steps.
Objection handling: Responding professionally to concerns about rates, fees, documentation, eligibility, timing, and competitor offers.
Closing: Creating urgency without using pressure, securing the customer’s commitment, and guiding the applicant to the next step.
Skills Required
- Senior high school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, or related field
- 1-2 years telesales, outbound sales, banking, lending, fintech, insurance, or financial-services experience
- Experience selling business loans, working-capital facilities, credit lines, or merchant financing
