Telephone Operator

Step into the world of Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, where impeccable service and attention to detail define every guest interaction. We are seeking a professional, friendly, and efficient Telephone Operator to join our Front Office team and ensure that every guest communication is handled seamlessly and with care.
 

As a Telephone Operator, you will be the voice of Four Seasons, providing a high quality experience for guests by answering calls, directing inquiries, and ensuring all requests are attended to promptly. Your role will require strong communication skills, a helpful attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure to deliver outstanding service at all times.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Answer incoming calls from guests, ensuring each interaction is warm, professional, and efficient
  • Direct calls to the appropriate departments or team members while maintaining an exceptional level of service
  • Assist with guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring each is resolved in a timely and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and requests
  • Provide guests with information about Four Seasons Sydney’s services, facilities, and events
  • Support the Front Office team with administrative tasks as needed
  • Ensure that all messages, both internal and external, are conveyed promptly and accurately
  • Maintain the highest standards of communication and guest service at all times
     

What You Will Bring:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a professional phone demeanor
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, approachable attitude with a passion for guest service
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
  • Knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions is a plus
