The Job at a GlanceWe are seeking an experienced and innovative RCM Manager to lead our Revenue Cycle Management team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of both traditional RCM processes and modern approaches that incorporate automation and data analysis. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient and effective revenue cycle operations and maximizing financial performance. We are particularly interested in candidates with specific expertise in AthenaHealth and experience optimizing revenue cycle processes within a telehealth environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle management process, ensuring timely billing, collections, and accurate financial reporting.
Identify opportunities for automation within existing RCM processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual labor, with a focus on leveraging AthenaHealth capabilities.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate RCM strategies with overall company objectives.
Implement and oversee assessment tasks for staff to ensure they have the necessary programming and data analysis skills.
Provide training and development for the RCM team to enhance skill sets and operational knowledge.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators and financial metrics related to revenue management.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team.

Required Qualifications and CompetenciesBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a focus on automation and process optimization.
Demonstrated expertise with AthenaHealth systems.
Proven experience managing revenue cycles for telehealth or virtual care services.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Familiarity with healthcare billing systems and regulatory requirements.
