Position Summary Provides support for internal telephone systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for evaluating telecommunications technology and internal telecommunications needs. Evaluates vendor products for internal voice messaging, provider access, hardware device options and telecom service and support. Works on integration initiatives that combine telecommunications technologies with other networking systems. Develops strategies for telecoms expansion within and between company facilities
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Oracle Acme Session Border Controllers and SIP Trunking
- Knowledge of network, DNS, servers, horizontal wiring, async gateways, security and traditional telephony.
- Experience with NEC telephone systems
- Experience with telco troubleshooting and installations
