This Position reports to:
Engineering ManagerIn this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.
The work model for the role is # LI - Hybrid.
This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Project Planning and Monitoring: Assign responsibilities, delegate authorities, and implement quality systems.
Technical Issue Resolution: Resolve key technical and quality issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
Client and Project Manager Interface: Interface with customers and project managers regarding engineering discipline issues.
Engineering Deliverables: Check all engineering deliverables before issue and participate in design reviews and meetings.
Training and Communication: Train engineers and draftsmen and ensure timely communication across interdepartmental teams.
Project Reporting: Report project status to customers and management.

Qualifications for the role:
2+ Yrs of experience in Telecom, Oil& gas. Engineering Documentation and Design: Experience in preparing Telecom engineering documentation, design specifications of Security systems (CCTV, PAGA, ACS) &Radio systems, cabinet/panel GA and wiring drawings, heat dissipation and power consumption calculations, building and field layouts and test procedures.
Testing and Standards Compliance: Experience in building Telecom test strategies and plans and understanding standards and regulatory requirements.
System Configuration and Project Management: Experience in system configuration, site surveys, FAT, commissioning, SAT, and ensuring successful project closeout. Project reporting to customers and management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in networking routing (OSPF, EIGRP, static, and default), switching (VLAN configuration, STP, RSTP, PVST, MST, Ether Channel, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP), port security, and private VLAN configuration.
Network and Security: Hands-on experience in handling and configuring wired and wireless network topologies, firewalls, and network security. Diagnosing and troubleshooting networking devices.
Efficient in preparing coverage studies for wireless networks, PAGA, RADIO, and CCTV storage calculations.
