The Role

Greenberg Traurig’s DC office seeks a junior to mid-level associate (with two to five years of experience) to join its growing dynamic telecommunications practice. The DC-based telecommunications group focuses on a multitude of issues before the Federal Communications Commission, NASA, NOAA, the Department of Commerce, and other federal agencies, courts, and states. We provide competitive big-law compensation and benefits while still having an enjoyable, good-natured work environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with regulatory and transactional matters in the telecommunications industry. Candidates with experience related to satellite regulations, transactional due diligence, and commercial contract drafting on behalf of telecommunications clients are greatly encouraged to apply. Candidates must be in good standing with the DC Bar or be eligible to be admitted to the DC Bar.

The expected pay range for this position is:

$235,000-$325,000 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.  Additional voluntary programs include:  voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance.  Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
