Employment Type: Full-time (Non-Exempt) 

Time: 40 hours/week (Monday-Thursday) (Occasionally a Friday or Saturday may be required, usually at month end – appropriate notice will be given)

Position Details:

The Technophar Operator is responsible and accountable for established machine and shift productivity, quality, and yield requirements. Process raw materials and blends by weighing, dumping, sifting, screening, and hand scooping while strictly following company SOP’s, and GMP’s, producing a high-quality product and meeting production schedule requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to operate a soft gel machine (Technophar) effectively and efficiently.
  • Work efficiently to stay on task.
  • Ability to maintain a high-quality product without sacrificing productivity and efficiency.
  • Correctly following and filling out batch records and documentation.
  • Detail oriented: Quickly learn where things belong in the work area, tools, equipment, machine, and parts.
  • Responsible and organized.
  • Ability to stage product(s) to stay on schedule.
  • Be reliable, and on time, with no major or ongoing attendance issues.
  • Ability to work well on your own.
  • Ability to receive and act upon instruction, be respectful and considerate of colleagues.
  • Work well with others.
  • Ensure that you are following all the rules, GMP's, SOP's and if you are unsure ask.
  • Own your area and your machine.
  • Ensure that your work is of the highest quality and that nothing is being excessively wasted.
  • Be aware of safety procedures, be careful and thorough so that your environment and actions ensure safety for yourself and others.
  • Be motivated to complete projects in a timely manner daily.
  • Problem solver – be willing to learn and improve to become the best employee you can be.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Competencies/Skill Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing experience and work in a GMP regulated industry preferred.
  • Basic computer skills including Windows navigation and data entry.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to read, interpret and execute written instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, combine multiple units of measure, and calculate fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
