Job Summary: Designs, develops, and delivers the training and digital content that drives employee adoption of the bank's business systems and workplace technology, including instructor-led and virtual training, instructional video, user guides, quick reference guides, and internal communications. Engages early in system implementations and migrations to develop hands-on proficiency in each platform from an end-user perspective, elicit requirements from project managers and business stakeholders, and support user acceptance testing prior to rollout. Partners with business units, IT teams, vendors, and subject matter experts to deliver practical, audience-specific enablement for business applications, Microsoft 365, and AI tools, carrying each deliverable through stakeholder review to final approval. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Essential Functions: All expectations described in the job description’s essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Design, develop, and facilitate instructor-led and virtual training on business applications, Microsoft 365, and AI tools, including role-based training for new hires and materials for departments that deliver their own training. Evaluate training effectiveness and revise content and delivery approach based on the results.
• Produce instructional video end to end, including scriptwriting, voiceover recording, desktop and mobile screen capture, post-production editing, and final quality review prior to publication.
• Develop and maintain a library of end-user documentation, including user guides, quick reference guides, onboarding instructions, readiness checklists, announcement articles, intranet knowledge pages, and recurring technology communications. Produce alternative content formats where better suited to the audience or the subject matter.
• Plan, produce, and facilitate live and virtual enablement events, including production support and post-event content delivery.
• Engage early in the project lifecycle on system implementations and migrations, participating in vendor sessions, discovery and requirements sessions, and internal project meetings to develop hands-on proficiency in the platform from an end-user perspective. Advise project teams on usability, training impact, and adoption readiness.
• Support user acceptance testing by executing test scenarios against configured workflows, with cross-platform validation across desktop browser and mobile. Document and report defects to the project lead, including root cause observations and recommended resolutions, and retest once fixes are applied.
• Elicit and document business requirements, current-state process flows, and use cases in partnership with project managers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts, including risks and downstream impacts to end users. Identify process and documentation improvement opportunities surfaced during this work and present recommendations to business owners.
• Coordinate stakeholder review and approval cycles for all deliverables, incorporating feedback through successive revisions until sign-off, then transition final assets to the business owner for distribution and ongoing use.
• Manage assigned project workload against stakeholder-agreed deadlines, balance assignments across the team based on capacity, and track dependencies owned by others to keep deliverables on schedule.
• Develop employee communications and rollout timelines in coordination with Human Resources, Training, and Employee Relations to support adoption of technology and process changes.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, communications, education, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience. Three or more years of experience in technology training, business systems support, technical writing, digital content production, or internal communications. Experience developing and delivering training for business systems or workplace technology is required, as is demonstrated hands-on experience producing instructional video and multimedia content. Banking, financial services, business analysis, or process improvement experience is preferred; system and industry knowledge can be developed on the job.
Required Skills and Knowledge: Strong training design and facilitation skills across live, virtual, and recorded formats, including comfort presenting to groups and on camera. Proficiency in video and audio production and editing, screen recording, and digital content development, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Copilot. Demonstrated ability to rapidly build working proficiency in unfamiliar applications through hands-on exploration, subject matter expert engagement, and project immersion, and to translate complex systems, workflows, and technical concepts into clear, role-based guidance for a non-technical audience. Excellent technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn stakeholder input and system documentation into accurate, usable end-user material. Foundational business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, process documentation, use case development, and user acceptance testing support. Resourceful and self-directed troubleshooting, with a hands-on, iterative approach to resolving content and configuration issues in a live system. Proven ability to manage concurrent deliverables, competing priorities, and multiple stakeholders, and to negotiate timelines directly with business partners. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills across business units, IT teams, vendors, and subject matter experts, and the flexibility to work in a small, cross-trained team where responsibilities are shared.
