We're looking for a visionary Full Stack Data Engineer on cognitive Hybrid Cloud technologies across public and Private cloud Technologies (Thought leaders, Technical Leads and Practitioners) at senior career levels to work on business development, transformation and modernization solutions and technology crisis management. The focus is to manage client technology landscape and value add through innovation and though leadership, address complex technical challenges faced by our clients. We also have emerging research and collaboration with our eco-system partners which needs to be taken up for creating GTM Offerings, Co-Create Innovative Assets and developing new deal pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support MySQL database environments in production, non-production, and DR environments.
Monitor database health, performance, capacity, availability, and security.
Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and version management.
Manage backup, restore, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.
Implement and support replication, clustering, and high-availability solutions.
Troubleshoot database incidents, performance bottlenecks, locking issues, and replication failures.
Execute database maintenance activities, including:
Index optimization
Statistics management
Capacity planning
Database housekeeping
Collaborate with application teams for query tuning and database optimization.
Automate repetitive DBA activities using Shell, Python, SQL, or Ansible-based automation.
Participate in major incidents, problem management, RCA preparation, and corrective action tracking.
Support transition and KT activities, including documentation reviews, KT playback sessions, and runbook creation.
Work within ITIL-based Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management processes.
Participate in on-call and weekend support rotations as required.
