Responsible for overseeing Application systems, architecture, design, data workflow, logical processes, and system interfaces. Assure synergy between software and hardware architecture to maximize that relationship. Determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions, conduct business reviews, document current systems, and develop recommendations on how to proceed with the applications. Responsible for ensuring optimal application and system performance.

• Solution Architecture & Design : Design and architect robust, scalable, and high-performance big data solutions using cloud services.

• Lead architectural decisions involving Kafka, RDS, data lakes, and real-time streaming systems.

• Ensure alignment of data solutions with overall enterprise architecture and data strategy.

• Data Pipeline Development & Orchestration :Design, build, and maintain complex ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Airflow and DAGs.

• Implement real-time and batch data pipelines using Apache Spark, Kafka, and Python/Java.

• Drive optimization, testing, and automation of workflows for reliable and efficient data processing.

• Leadership & Project Management- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers.

• Drive end-to-end project execution – from requirement gathering to delivery – while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

• Review code, provide feedback, and uphold best practices in data engineering and software development.

• Data Modeling & Database Management- Design logical and physical data models for data systems.

• Optimize performance and cost efficiency of RD Sand other Cloud-native databases.

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for critical databases.

• Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication -Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementations.

• Communicate technical concepts and project statuses effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Governance, Quality, and Security -Implement data governance, data quality checks, and monitoring frameworks.

• Ensure data privacy, security compliance, and best practices in line with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Innovation and Continuous Improvement- Evaluate new technologies and tools for continuous improvement of the data platform.

• Advocate for automation, monitoring, and cost-efficient practices within the data engineering ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field
• Typically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp
• Four-year college degree and 6 or more years, and/or a high school diploma with 8 or more years professional experience with full life cycle design and development
