Role overview:
The Technology Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring predictable, controlled delivery aligned with agreed scope, timelines, and quality expectations
This role focuses on validating and operationalising initial inputs (such as scope, timelines, and estimates) and ensuring successful execution, while proactively managing any deviations from plan.
Delivery outcomes are considered the core accountability of the role.
What you will do
You will own end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring successful execution from mobilisation through to project closure.
You will translate scope, estimates, and timelines into clear and executable delivery plans, identifying dependencies, risks, and critical milestones.
You will drive day-to-day execution across cross-functional teams, actively managing progress and ensuring alignment with delivery plans.
You will proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues, ensuring clear visibility, impact assessment, and resolution plans.
You will coordinate multiple stakeholders and teams, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, infrastructure, security, and operations.
You will provide clear and structured communication to stakeholders, ensuring full transparency on delivery status, risks, and required decisions.
You will monitor delivery against agreed timelines, scope, and cost assumptions, identifying and escalating any deviations early.
You will manage change control and scope adjustments, ensuring all changes are assessed, documented, and governed appropriately.
You will maintain accurate delivery governance artefacts, including delivery plans, RAID logs, and status reports, ensuring data integrity and transparency.
You will ensure successful go-live, warranty, and project closure, including coordination, documentation, and handover activities.
Who you are
You are an outcome-driven Project Manager with a strong sense of ownership over delivery results.
You proactively manage delivery, anticipating risks and challenges rather than reacting to issues as they arise.
You escalate early and clearly, ensuring that risks, blockers, and deviations are visible and understood, with a clear articulation of impact and proposed actions.
You have a strong ability to understand and manage dependencies, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and avoiding downstream impacts on delivery.
You are comfortable challenging assumptions and validating plans, ensuring that delivery commitments are realistic and achievable.
You drive execution actively, taking ownership of progress, milestones, and outcomes rather than passively tracking status.
You communicate in a clear, structured, and transparent way, building stakeholder confidence through accurate and consistent updates.
You are highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain control over complex delivery environments involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
