Job Summary
The Technology Project Analyst Senior provides critical coaching, mentoring, and auditing functions on IT portfolio projects and processes within the IT Delivery Office (ITDO). As the Senior, they are expected to not only ensure the review and quality of the project artifacts, deliverables and process adherence to the Flagstar Bank Playbook and governance routines are being performed for their portfolio of projects but, also provide mentorship to other Delivery Analysts on performing these functions. The Sr IT Delivery Analyst generally has a higher volume of projects.The Technology Project Analyst Senior is expected to provide mentoring, advice and support around critical project delivery functions, including budget tracking and financial forecasting, project evaluation and monitoring, and maintaining compliance with corporate and public regulations. They provide support for both their portfolio of projects and governance activities including Tollgate readiness, assessing deliverable quality and completeness, and financial forecast accuracy. They are expected to verify and analyze the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by a project; and help the project managers resolve any discrepancies or problems.
The Technology Project Analyst Senior will support multiple IT Project Portfolios on:
1. Evaluating project schedules, resources, equipment and information and budgets for accuracy and completeness.
2. Ensuring reporting of time, scope and objectives are accurately assessed and updated in Clarity / CA PPM.
3. Ensuring that the IT Delivery Office is kept abreast of project delinquency and failing project health and remediation actions taken.
4. Help to define the ITDO’s goals and objectives for the year.
5. Work closely with the Sr. IT Delivery Office Governance Lead to execute the ITDO’s goals and objectives for the year.
6. Consult with the Project Analyst Lead on opportunities for process improvement, training, and communication.
Job Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with other IT Delivery Analysts to ensure the review and quality of the project artifacts, deliverables, and process adherence to the Flagstar Bank Playbook and governance routines are being performed for their portfolio of projects.
Audit and provide quality assurance of high or multiple medium rigor projects. Advises PM on accurate project team, tasks, and financial information in Clarity. Supports scope of project with budget reconciliation in Clarity. Keep current assigned project resources – both full time employees and contractors in Clarity. Facilitation of cross functional agile collaborative teams in iterative technology developments including: managing stakeholder expectations regarding target scope, schedule and budget.
Advises PM on project budget planning and development. Establishes project work plan and calendar framework for the projects they support, may update, review, and progress, collaborating with the project delivery resources. Establishes and maintains internal and external resources as necessary. Removing impediments that hinder project progress. Facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and iteration meetings. Monitoring the progress of the sprint. Helping teams estimate iteration deliverables and increase velocity. Managing development tracking system to include product and sprint backlogs. Promoting continuous communication. Monitoring and helps improving team dynamics.
Monitors record keeping and file maintenance for the program or project. Prepares records of project activities; oversees and ensures the timely processing in and the delivery of required materials. Verifies and analyzes the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project; resolves any discrepancies or problems.
Serves as liaison for IT Delivery Office; coordinates activities and exchanges information. Ensure the project development process follows the Project Management Methodology and IT Delivery Office standards. Document and submit project change requests on behalf of the Project Manager or project coordinator. Contribute to the development of the IT Delivery Office and share knowledge with peers.
Provides advice to participants of the ITDO processes; serves as a liaison; acts as a resource person by performing research, analyzing information, providing documentation, and preparing reports as required.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNEducation level required: College, Vocational or Associates Degree (2 years or equivalent). 2 Years of equivalent project management field of study.TABILITIES
Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications:
Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
Minimum experience required: 4+ Years of experience in coordinating projects of progressive size and complexity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education level preferred: College, Vocational or Associates Degree (2 years or equivalent).
2 Years of equivalent project management field of study.
4+ years of experience with various Software Development Life Cycle methods such as Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc.
Project Management Methodologies.
