Seeking a Product Owner / Product Manager for LPLs Infrastructure & Operations Delivery Engineering Organization.
At LPL, we are looking for new team players to strengthen our Infrastructure Delivery Engineering organization. We are organized around Agile Well Formed Teams.
The Infrastructure Well Formed Teams are responsible for the delivery of all things IT infrastructure (on-prem and AWS cloud) in support of our aligned domain products and their aligned initiatives.
The Infrastructure Product Owner / Manager is responsible for managing Infrastructure Delivery supporting the complete lifecycle of the services of his/her aligned Product Domain. From analysis, through prioritization, development, delivery and release support.
The Product Owner / Manager will possess technical expertise and engineering skill which allows them to be considered a leading subject matter expert for both Investor and Advisor themed technology and/or a lead for enabling Cloud based solutions. This individual must be able to work in a fast paced, start up like environment, assist to identify requirements and facilitate implementation, while following appropriate change control and release processes.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned technology products, aligning with LPL's overall business objectives and technology architecture.
Ability to work well with internal teams, including architects, developers, engineers, quality assurance, and operations.
Consistently meet with customers to ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match Requesting Business Partner expectations.
Actively works with the customers to prioritize the product backlog with details including acceptance criteria as well as clear "definition of done/complete".
Leads detailed planning and executing on product roadmap and elicits info from customers necessary for planning.
Coordinate / Collaborate with stakeholders as needed and represent their vision & requirements to the technology teams through the use of User Stories, diagrams, or other documentation (overriding design decisions, inclusion in cross-functional processes, etc.)
Participates in all related meetings including daily stand-up, necessary agile ceremonies and provides direction and feedback based on input from business owner.
Become a Subject Matter Expert about all processes related to delivering solutions for aligned products.
Manages and guides the implementation partner(s) and aligns to Product Teams release schedules.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and dependencies related to product development and deployment.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in technical product or program management, with a strong focus on technology products, preferably within the financial services or FinTech industry.
5+ years experience with Datacenter and Cloud technologies, software development methodologies, web technologies, APIs, ect.
5+ years experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), analytics platforms, and design collaboration tools.
10+ years experience and deep understanding of user experience principles and a strong passion for building solutions that delight users and solve real-world problems.
Core Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data and insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical, non-technical and executive audiences.
Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, fostering collaboration and driving consensus.
Preferences:
Familiarity with the financial advisory landscape, wealth management platforms, trading systems, or other relevant financial technology is highly desirable.

Pay Range:
$145,925-$243,209/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
