Role Summary
The Technology Lead – Case Packing Systems serves as the technical authority for all automatic case packing equipment within the manufacturing site. The role is responsible for driving equipment standardization, improving reliability, increasing manufacturing efficiency, and developing operator-friendly systems that maximize productivity while minimizing operational complexity.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own the engineering strategy for all case packing technologies.
- Improve OEE through engineering solutions and equipment optimization.
- Develop standardized machine designs and engineering specifications.
- Simplify machine operation to improve ergonomics and reduce operator dependency.
- Lead troubleshooting of chronic equipment losses.
- Design and implement reliability improvements.
- Support new equipment selection, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup.
- Standardize automation architecture and maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, OEMs, and Automation teams.
- Mentor engineering and maintenance personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years proven experience implementing and optimizing automatic case packing systems.
- Strong expertise in industrial automation, machine design, motion control, and manufacturing systems.
- Demonstrated success improving reliability and OEE.
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
- Experience in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Reliability Engineering, and OEE improvement.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
