Everyday…
- Collaborate with business teams to understand the business requirements and turn them into technical designs and solutions.
- Provide technical recommendations to the business team as well as bridging the gap between business and technical aspects.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members.
- Set up the IT development pipelines then bring up software requirements/features together with Sunday Technologies (in-house development team) and external vendors. Collaborate with solution architects and technical specialists to high-level design software architecture.
- Lead automation and process improvement initiatives to optimize the current operation process.
- Prioritize work and resources effectively.
- Collaborated with Directors to develop and implement the annual IT budget, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Participated in IT audit processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory standards.
- Be a Person-in-charge to understand OIC regulation & governance and take appropriate actions in time.
You will need to…
- Have recent experience as IT Manager, BA, PM or similar being at least 50% hands-on development in an Agile environment.
- Have recent experience or exposure to analyze the business requirements, suggest improvements to the current business process and/or collaborate with non-technical people.
- Having experience in coaching and managing a team which consists of diversities would be highly beneficial.
- Possess good judgement in any decision making.
- Have a good understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Have strong fundamentals in database design and system integration.
- Be able to balance between design flexibility and best practices.
- Strong Microservice architecture design is a plus.
- In addition to the above, you must be passionate about new technologies, digital innovation, architecture design, coding, learning and partying!
Skills Required
- Recent experience as IT Manager, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar with at least 50% hands-on development in an Agile environment
