Technology Manager – Identity & Access Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technology manager to lead our identity & access management (IAM) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation and management of our IAM systems, ensuring the security and efficiency of our organization's access controls.
The successful candidate will also lead the IAM team in developing and implementing identity and access management solutions, while providing technical guidance and support to team members and other stakeholders.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:
- Oversee the design and maintenance of IAM systems, including infrastructure patching, code changes, and user authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Leverage automation and AI to continuously improve manual processes related to IAM.
- Makes decisions aligning with the strategic pillars, while focusing on the end user experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IAM solutions with existing systems and processes.
- Monitor and analyze IAM system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes by meeting and exceeding the KPI’s and OKR’s for the team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to identity and access management including but not limited to SOX and PCI.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in managing IAM systems and teams.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with IAM tools and platforms such as SailPoint IIQ, Ping Federate, Active Directory, Azure and other LDAP, SSO, MFA technologies etc.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to IAM, such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, PCI etc.
