Job Description

Huge is looking for a Technology Lead with a strong UI and front-end focus to support the development of a digital platform, primarily built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role requires a technologist who can lead front-end architecture and implementation, while maintaining an understanding of the full-stack ecosystem in enterprise web environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience building high-fidelity web interfaces, strong knowledge of modern web development practices, and experience working with enterprise content management platforms. As a Technology Lead, you will collaborate with designers, strategists, and developers to deliver scalable and production-ready solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the development and implementation of high-quality UI components and front-end architectures.
  • Implement high-fidelity front-end designs, ensuring pixel accuracy and performance across devices and browsers.
  • Guide the development team in best practices for web development, architecture, and code quality.
  • Work across the full web stack, collaborating with backend teams and integrating front-end solutions with enterprise platforms.
  • Contribute to the implementation and integration of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions.
  • Apply modern front-end development practices, including modular architecture and build tooling.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring maintainable, scalable, and performant code.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, product teams, and engineers to deliver seamless digital experiences.
  • Identify technical risks, architectural gaps, and potential improvements early in the development process.
  • Support the team in delivering production-ready web applications and digital platforms.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure consistent engineering quality across the team.

What We’d Like to See

  • 5+ years of experience in web development, including experience in senior engineer or technical lead roles.
  • Strong expertise in front-end web development, including:
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • JavaScript
  • Experience with modern front-end build tools, especially Webpack.
  • Experience delivering web platforms that have successfully launched to production.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Content Management or Experience Management platforms.
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Java or familiarity with Java-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, particularly React.
  • Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
  • Experience with Sass / SCSS or other CSS preprocessors.
  • Understanding of full-stack web architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience working in enterprise or agency environments is a plus.

This role is currently not available for hire or work in Colorado, New Mexico, and Hawaii.

The salary range for this position is as listed below. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the actual salary ranges for current and former employees who are either currently filling a similar role or did in the past; the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations; the market demand for that role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based. For current Huge employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
