This role leads enterprise-wide issue management by identifying, prioritizing, and resolving technology issues that impact business operations, while driving delivery management strategies that ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes across all technology portfolios.
The position serves as a strategic partner to technology leaders to align roadmaps, capacity, and delivery expectations, and acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and TREX teams to ensure shared understanding of priorities and constraints.
Responsibilities include facilitating cross-functional governance forums, overseeing end-to-end delivery lifecycle processes, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements. The role promotes transparency and accountability through clear communication and reporting, champions a culture of partnership and shared ownership, and leads continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, risk reduction, and service reliability.
In this role, you will:
- Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence plans, specifications, resource needs, and goals for multi-faceted, highly complex, or long-term risk mitigation and control strategies on behalf of the business
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex current and emerging risks which require understanding of business-specific knowledge related to financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT, systems security, business process management, and applicable business acumen
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale, multi-faceted, long-term, or companywide strategies
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience in technology delivery, program management, or technology operations leadership
- 5+ years of experience in issue management frameworks, delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), and governance models
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven track record of partnering with senior business and technology leaders in complex organizations
- Strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise technology environments
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience in technology risk management, operational resiliency, and regulatory execution within large-scale banking organizations
- Expertise in developing executive dashboards and reporting for issue management and remediation tracking
- Familiarity with emerging technology risk frameworks, cybersecurity standards, and operational resiliency requirements
- Ability to lead cultural change initiatives that promote transparency and accountability across technology teams
