Purpose

The Technology Implementation Manager will lead complex technology implementations from planning through deployment and stabilization, acting as the primary bridge between Technology, business stakeholders, vendors, and other delivery teams.

The role will provide hands-on leadership across the implementation lifecycle while bringing a higher level of strategic thinking, stakeholder management, risk ownership, and organizational change leadership than a traditional Project Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, cross-functional technology implementations from initiation through successful adoption and stabilization.
  • Translate business objectives into implementation strategies, delivery plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Own implementation scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall delivery accountability.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams without necessarily having direct people-management responsibility.
  • Partner closely with business leaders, Technology leadership, vendors, and operational stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Identify and proactively manage implementation risks, organizational dependencies, and barriers to successful adoption.
  • Develop implementation and transition strategies, including readiness, communications, training, operational handoff, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Establish and monitor success measures to ensure technology investments achieve their intended business outcomes.
  • Provide leadership-level reporting and recommendations on implementation progress, risks, decisions, and business impact.
  • Establish consistent implementation practices, tools, governance, and lessons learned across technology initiatives.
  • Coach and provide delivery leadership to Project Managers and other implementation resources where appropriate.
  • Support the Senior Manager, Project Delivery with portfolio planning, prioritization, capacity considerations, and continuous improvement.

Experience

  • 7–10+ years of technology delivery and implementation experience, including experience leading complex enterprise technology initiatives, managing senior stakeholders, working across multiple business functions, and coordinating internal and external delivery teams.
  • Experience with enterprise systems, technology transformation, organizational change, vendor management, and implementation methodologies would be highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to support resolution of complex technical issues within a project team or workshop facilitation setting.

  • Diriger des mises en œuvre technologiques complexes et interfonctionnelles, de l’initiation jusqu’à l’adoption réussie et à la stabilisation.
  • Traduire les objectifs d’affaires en stratégies de mise en œuvre, en plans de livraison, en jalons et en résultats mesurables.
  • Assumer la responsabilité de la portée, des échéanciers, des dépendances, des risques, des problèmes et de la responsabilité globale liée à la réalisation de la mise en œuvre.
  • Diriger et mobiliser des équipes interfonctionnelles sans nécessairement avoir de responsabilités directes en matière de gestion du personnel.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les dirigeants de l’entreprise, les responsables des technologies, les fournisseurs et les parties prenantes opérationnelles afin de favoriser l’alignement et la prise de décision.
  • Cerner et gérer de façon proactive les risques liés à la mise en œuvre, les dépendances organisationnelles et les obstacles à une adoption réussie.
  • Élaborer des stratégies de mise en œuvre et de transition, notamment en matière de préparation, de communications, de formation, de transfert aux opérations et de stabilisation après le lancement.
  • Établir et surveiller les indicateurs de réussite afin de s’assurer que les investissements technologiques permettent d’atteindre les résultats d’affaires visés.
  • Présenter aux membres de la direction des rapports et des recommandations sur l’avancement des mises en œuvre, les risques, les décisions à prendre et les répercussions sur l’entreprise.
  • Établir des pratiques, des outils et des mécanismes de gouvernance uniformes en matière de mise en œuvre, ainsi que documenter et partager les leçons apprises dans le cadre des initiatives technologiques.
  • Accompagner les gestionnaires de projet et les autres ressources responsables de la mise en œuvre en leur offrant du coaching et du leadership en matière de livraison, lorsque requis.
  • Soutenir le ou la gestionnaire principal(e), Livraison des projets dans la planification du portefeuille, l’établissement des priorités, la gestion de la capacité et l’amélioration continue.

Expérience

  • De 7 à 10 ans ou plus d’expérience en livraison et en mise en œuvre de solutions technologiques, notamment dans la direction d’initiatives technologiques complexes à l’échelle de l’entreprise, la gestion de parties prenantes de niveau supérieur, le travail avec plusieurs fonctions de l’entreprise et la coordination d’équipes de livraison internes et externes.
  • Une expérience des systèmes d’entreprise, de la transformation technologique, de la gestion du changement organisationnel, de la gestion des fournisseurs et des méthodologies de mise en œuvre constitue un atout important.
