Our first step to achieving our mission is to transform the recruiting experience into an easy, human and fair process, for both candidates and companies with high-volume job openings.
Emi, our main product, is an A.I. recruitment assistant that enables companies to engage in a conversation with each applicant to detect interested and qualified individuals while saving Recruiters a huge amount of time by automating tasks such as screening, validating skills, scheduling interviews, and collecting documents.
We were part of Y-Combinator's Winter 2019 batch and in 2022 we have raised an $11M funding round co-led by Merus Capital and Khosla Ventures.
About Tech Implementation Team
At Emi we are focused on solving real problems for our customers and for our candidates, which is why we are a customer-focused company.
Every customer at Emi has their own tailored version of our platform and AI conversation to meet their specific recruitment needs. The Tech Implementation Team is in charge of building those versions of our platform to successfully implement our customers.
We lead the setup of the tool working together with the product and customer experience teams focusing on creating a solution to the pains identified by the customers and adding value to their recruiting process.
What you'll be doing
You will use our internal tools to create and improve candidate interactions with the bot and recruiter interactions with the platform, by building the best version of Emi for each customer.
Working closely with the Customer Success, Tech, and Product teams, you will ensure the platform's features are implemented according to the client's requirements, based on your deep understanding of our product's capabilities.
You will master the processes and tools that allow you to configure, adjust, and ensure platform quality. You’ll be a trusted team member in client projects, to help innovate their recruiting process by 10X.
Tasks / Activities
- Ensure the successful configuration of the Emi solution promptly in alignment with their business case and expectations through the use of our internal tools.
- Design conversational interactions by transforming business requirements into logical rules and product definitions.
- Collaborate with our internal product teams to improve our toolset and bot capabilities.
- Design and lead functional internal QA strategies and UAT with customers and iterate based on results to ensure customer-centric and flawless platform configuration.
- Collaborate with internal teams (tech, product, and project managers) in a joint effort to comply with project milestones.
- Improve our Implementation process in order to help Emi scale as efficiently as possible, ensuring high quality and being able to measure them in KPIs.
- Analyze and present insights into the real-time results of each implementation and improve them upon direct or indirect user feedback/usage insights.
- Participate and help build the company’s inclusive and people-driven culture
What we're looking for
- +1 year of work experience
- Analytical skills
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Basic technology knowledge (json structures, programming logics)
- Ability to deliver quality work on a tight schedule
- Great prioritization and organization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proactivity to seek out opportunities to improve what we do and how we do it
- Excellent writing skills in both English and Spanish
- Clear and simple communication skills
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
- Extreme curiosity, a bias for action, and an appetite for learning and growth
- Ability to work in a high-growth environment and adapt to changing scenarios and uncertainty
Nice to have
- Basic programming skills in Python
- SQL knowledge.
- Expertise with Analytics tools (Tableau, Metabase, etc.).
- Expertise with Excel.
- Scrum, Agile, or any Project management certification is a plus.
- Background in linguistics or AI.
