Job Purpose:
BTIG Seeks an Analyst to join the GPT team based in NY. As a Junior C# Programmer you will design, develop, and maintain existing applications for equities trading. You will work closely with our trading, technology, and operations teams to ensure the system's performance, reliability, and scalability. While primary focus is on C# Windows applications, this job is an opportunity to segway into other areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing and develop new C# .NET Windows GUI solutions
- Document code and processes
- Learn and participate in testing of all trading related technologies
- Report on project status and developments to senior team members
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the system.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or prior experience in the industry.
- 2 years of full-time C# programming is preferred, but an outstanding Computer Science major graduate without prior experience will be considered
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must work independently or as a part of a small team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- General knowledge of database systems and SQL is a plus.
- Exposure to scripting with python/perl/bash is a plus.

Compensation:
- BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
- The current estimated base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $120,000 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
